The process continues.....I lay in bed and ask myself, "will it ever get finished?" I know that it will but oh my gosh, the "stuff" that we have collected over the years is unbelieveable. Somewhat sinful. I'm really going to try during the next trimester of our lives to be good, more organized and ask myself, "do I really need this?" My dad always said what a big difference between need and want. I know that I do lose site of this.

Our house has been such a warm and wonderful place to be. I know that even our transistion place will be just as much home. It's the people there not the place. We will be then, hopfully sooner than later be moving to our new house. Many milestones have taken place here. School days, family parties, Christmas, trick or treat, birthdays, prayer gatherings, election parties, making new friends through neighbors,(good ones) showers, high school parties, some we knew about and some not, teenagers and more teenagers, driving, vacation trips, college days, anniversaries, engagements, weddings, the loss of family members, births, babies spending the night and now the girls and their babies helping me move. Where does the time go?! I know that Victor and Marla will be very happy here and make all of the God given memories that will come their way. We are all so blessed. Life is good. Don't forget me in my lil patio home in New Albany!!!! Hey, the street is Christa Lynn Dr.. I think it's apropos!

Baby Sam is how the kids fondly refer to their new cousin..they are getting lots of practice for their newest addition

The Loss of a dear friend.

On July 3 a dear, dear friend of ours, Chips Cronen returned to Heaven. He will be missed. We pray and ask for prayers for his wife Barbra and sons.
I came across this scripture that seems to be appropriate for Chips, it reads from Ephesians 6: 16-18
"At all times carry faith as a shield; for with it you will be able to put out all the burning arrows shot by the evil one. And accepting salvation as a helmet, and the word of God as the sword which the Spirit gives you. Do all this in prayer, asking for God's help. Pray on every occassion, as the Spirit leads. For this reason keep alert and never give up; pray always for God's people."

This is just one thought that gives "light" to the life of Chips Cronen. He was truly a prayer warrior. I've counted on his prayers many times and will continue to do so..
