The kids all made it safely to Fla. this evening.....Thank you Lord! Vic and I had dinner out this evening and I told him that I've called on every angel and traveling saint there is including our Blessed Mother and her son Jesus.
Tomorrow Victor, myself and Mom leave in the early evening. We are looking forward to getting down there and being with the family to ring in the New Year. If you don't mind offer one up on our behalf for safe air travels as well.
We'll keep everyone "posted" of the weeks events. Sure hope the weather is warm so the kids can swim. It was 79 today!!! Pretty good for Dec. 28th!
Everyone stay safe and well.
Life is good....God is Great!

Sam and his daddy Joe
Victor opening his present...Veggie tales CastleIt was a great Christmas! Great in many ways. For me personally I always pray and hope that I will feel, what I call, "that Christmas Grace." Each year it's something different. This year as in many others in the past for me it was at Mass. Even though we sat in the back pew with all of our family and the kids were entertainment the entire Mass I felt the love, (Grace)
When we all went forward at Communion time one of the most touching moments for me was watching lil Victor walk forward with his arms crossed over his chest which represents he can not receive. It won't be long until that wonderful day when he will walk forward to receive.
The others, Maddie, Sam and Abigail were all of course just as precious as usual. Victor and I both say as always how did we get so blessed.
Thank you Jesus for coming into the world to save us. No one could ever love me as you do.

Christmas Baking!
A little playtime
Maddie and her Cinderella rendition....it's something to see!
Ummmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What Dolls!!!!! And so grown up. I love you girls
Two Special BakersWe had our Chrismas Baking get together this evening. It was fun to be with everyone and "Oh the sweets!" Something none of us really needed!
The highlight of the night was when Meredith realized she didn't bring Baking Soda and I didn't have any either. She and the girls took a plate of cookies to my elderly neighbors next door and borrowed some from them....they loved it and were thrilled with the company. Maddie and Victor entertained us with their Veggie Tale songs and other Disney renditions...too cute! They are pretty smart if I say so myself.
Well, have a blessed Christmas everyone and remember, Jesus is the reason for the Season.
Life is good and we are so blessed. Merry Christmas

Maddie SparklesWell, it was that time again and how fast the time flies. It seems like yesterday that we were taking pix with our grandbabies and oh how they have grown! It was fun as usual. There has always been one who wasn't up for the event and this year the winner is......Sam! Really, he hasn't been feeling well and just didn't want to do this. He would rather check out Mamo's place and play. However we did get some pretty good ones. Check them out.

Victor so proud of his costume made by Jan.Happy Halloween to all! Do I have the cutest grandchildren or what!!!? Tonight was so much fun.
We began the night like we have every year at Jan's. We began with a pitch in for dinner and everything was delicious. The kids were so ready and excited to go out and get their goodies.
We had a wonderful walk, with perfect weather (thank you Lord) with people that we love. I was especially happy that Papa Victor was home to enjoy this with us and he said that he did.
Jan has recently had foot surgery and she was a real trooper with all of the excitement. She had a very handsome chauffuer I must say wheeling her around the neighborhood. Very sweet.
Enjoy my pix and as lil Victor said several times this evening, "Happy Halloween and have a safe Halloween." He's learning a lot in kindergarten.:)

The Loss of a dear friend.
On July 3 a dear, dear friend of ours, Chips Cronen returned to Heaven. He will be missed. We pray and ask for prayers for his wife Barbra and sons.
I came across this scripture that seems to be appropriate for Chips, it reads from Ephesians 6: 16-18
"At all times carry faith as a shield; for with it you will be able to put out all the burning arrows shot by the evil one. And accepting salvation as a helmet, and the word of God as the sword which the Spirit gives you. Do all this in prayer, asking for God's help. Pray on every occassion, as the Spirit leads. For this reason keep alert and never give up; pray always for God's people."
This is just one thought that gives "light" to the life of Chips Cronen. He was truly a prayer warrior. I've counted on his prayers many times and will continue to do so..
