I really wish that I did not have this to report. Our sweet lil Abigail is in Kosair Childrens hospital. She is just 2 weeks old and has contracted the ugly RSV virus. They are keeping her in the hospital to monitor her breathing.
Like that isn't enough, poor Victor and Marla have the other two kids home sick too.
They all went to the pediatrition this morning and the reports were not to good.
Victor, age 4 has a touch of pneumonia, bronchitis and an ear infection. Maddie has the same.
These are part of the tough and challenging times of parenting. I remember them well.
I always felt like my world had stopped when our kids were sick. Lord knows we had our share too.
This is tough watching these little ones so sick. I wish there were something more I could do. Abigail is so beautiful and so sweet. She needs prayer and the other little ones too.
Praying all are well for Christmas!

The Loss of a dear friend.
On July 3 a dear, dear friend of ours, Chips Cronen returned to Heaven. He will be missed. We pray and ask for prayers for his wife Barbra and sons.
I came across this scripture that seems to be appropriate for Chips, it reads from Ephesians 6: 16-18
"At all times carry faith as a shield; for with it you will be able to put out all the burning arrows shot by the evil one. And accepting salvation as a helmet, and the word of God as the sword which the Spirit gives you. Do all this in prayer, asking for God's help. Pray on every occassion, as the Spirit leads. For this reason keep alert and never give up; pray always for God's people."
This is just one thought that gives "light" to the life of Chips Cronen. He was truly a prayer warrior. I've counted on his prayers many times and will continue to do so..

Marla and Victor, Noah had it too when he was 6 weeks old, we KNOW what you are experiencing right now....I am putting my rosary in my pocket to remind me to keep her and both of you in my prayers.....
Yeah...Abigail is out of the hospital! Sam, Joe and I continue to pray for her! We love her so much!
Barbara told us about baby Abigail having rsv. We were so sorry to hear that the she and the kids are sick. I remember when Lilly had rsv. She was 8 months and Joe and I felt completely helpless. Fortunately she recovered and has been a healthy girl ever since. We will keep Abigail and your family in our prayers. I cannot wait to see her, I am sure she is beautiful just like her brother and sister.
