Sam time!!

Where is Sam? Hiding and laughing in the pantry!

Never too young....he does really well

A trip to McDonalds for a Happy Meal and a banana..

Sam's babysitter has taken a few well deserved days off so I'm filling in. He came Thurs. night so they did not have to bring him out so early on Friday morning. We'll do the same thing this Sunday night for Monday. He had a good time and LOVES to sleep with me....I love it too.

Some time with Abigail

Sweet Abigail

Today Marla took the older two for dentist appointments and I spent some good quality time with Abigail. She is so sweet and so good. Loves the one on one time with anyone. I loved it!

Miss and Sam getting a squeeze from Aunt Marla

Abigail obviously disappointed with the election results too.

Although this election did not turn out the way we had hoped and prayed today was a day in history. The kids came over and we all had dinner together and watched some of the events.

We had an AWESOME trip in NSB during the holidays. It has truly become a family tradition. Our weather was perfect! The kids had such a good time at the pool and the beach. We started out in real style, Beeler style. We needed transportation big enough to take all of our stuff, Nana's walker, O2 machine and of course the suitcases. To accommodate, Victor surprised Nana with a ride big enough for everything! Check it our!

Beeler/Powers Greatest Adventure!!!!!!!!

The kids all made it safely to Fla. this evening.....Thank you Lord! Vic and I had dinner out this evening and I told him that I've called on every angel and traveling saint there is including our Blessed Mother and her son Jesus.
Tomorrow Victor, myself and Mom leave in the early evening. We are looking forward to getting down there and being with the family to ring in the New Year. If you don't mind offer one up on our behalf for safe air travels as well.
We'll keep everyone "posted" of the weeks events. Sure hope the weather is warm so the kids can swim. It was 79 today!!! Pretty good for Dec. 28th!
Everyone stay safe and well.
Life is good....God is Great!

It was a great Christmas! Great in many ways. For me personally I always pray and hope that I will feel, what I call, "that Christmas Grace." Each year it's something different. This year as in many others in the past for me it was at Mass. Even though we sat in the back pew with all of our family and the kids were entertainment the entire Mass I felt the love, (Grace)

When we all went forward at Communion time one of the most touching moments for me was watching lil Victor walk forward with his arms crossed over his chest which represents he can not receive. It won't be long until that wonderful day when he will walk forward to receive.

The others, Maddie, Sam and Abigail were all of course just as precious as usual. Victor and I both say as always how did we get so blessed.

Thank you Jesus for coming into the world to save us. No one could ever love me as you do.

Baby Sam is how the kids fondly refer to their new cousin..they are getting lots of practice for their newest addition

The Loss of a dear friend.

On July 3 a dear, dear friend of ours, Chips Cronen returned to Heaven. He will be missed. We pray and ask for prayers for his wife Barbra and sons.
I came across this scripture that seems to be appropriate for Chips, it reads from Ephesians 6: 16-18
"At all times carry faith as a shield; for with it you will be able to put out all the burning arrows shot by the evil one. And accepting salvation as a helmet, and the word of God as the sword which the Spirit gives you. Do all this in prayer, asking for God's help. Pray on every occassion, as the Spirit leads. For this reason keep alert and never give up; pray always for God's people."

This is just one thought that gives "light" to the life of Chips Cronen. He was truly a prayer warrior. I've counted on his prayers many times and will continue to do so..
